I really wanted to write something for the HHC this year, but I've been totally focused on getting my parents' house ready to sell. There was so much stuff in it that had to be sorted through. We had an estate sale, then I donated a lot of stuff, and still brought a ton of stuff over here that I need to go through.
Anyway, between being busy, going on a vacation, and Muse not being very cooperative, I've been finding it difficult to write anything. I know there have been days I wrote over 5000 words in a day... and even over 6000 a time or two. It's been more of a struggle of late to think of anything to write and to get words down. I'm hoping things will change now that the house has sold, but I still have a ton of work to do for the estate. *sigh*
I've been trying to write something for HHC and finally got started sometime last weekend. I remember it being around 350 on Monday. Then at some point, probably Tues or Weds, I bumped the WC up to 750. Today I've hit 1000 words. I'm hoping I can finish this one and maybe write something else, too. I have absolutely NO CLUE how I managed to write 24 ficlets for last year's HHC.
