02/10/2025 The Impossible Marine on AO3 - written for the 2025 NCIS Reverse Bang Challenge

I chose Red_Pink_Dot's banner as it immediately sparked a story. I don't think I ever would have written a story featuring Tony as a physical therapist if it hadn't been for her banner.
Summary:
When Agent Gibbs is injured on duty, he is rushed to Bethesda Hospital for emergency surgery. He is assigned a physical therapist named Tony DiNozzo. At first, Tony has his hands full caring for the crusty NCIS agent, and his patience is pushed to the brink. But eventually, things begin to change.

Summary:
Abby meets a handsome, fit man in the park and decides he’s a perfect match for Tony. After all, they’re both training for the same triathlon, and both also work in law enforcement. It’s not until Gibbs finds out Tony is dating another man that he realizes what has slipped through his fingers.

[GEN] Tony & Ellie Friendship
This was written for the NCIS Happy Holiday's Challenge Day 17/18 - Trimming The Tree/Ornaments. I got this idea one morning, and did the edit and posting the following day. This felt a bit like Conversations 2.0. I enjoy the big brother aspect of their friendship.
Summary:
Ellie has just moved into a new apartment after leaving Jake and is pondering what her new life without him will be like. Tony stops by to assure her the team considers her family and will stand by her.

12/20/2024 The Lady by the Fountain on AO3 - written for the 2024 Happy Holidays Challenge
[SLASH] Tony/Gibbs - also crossover with Ghosts
This story was written for the 2024 Happy Holidays Challenge, Day 19/20 - Family/Unexpected Guests. I actually started this one before "Holiday Expressions", but didn't get it finished. My original thought was to gear it more toward the Holiday Music/Movie theme, but it wasn't done in time, so I shifted it to Family. In this series, Tony can see and hear ghosts. He's already met up with Kate and Ari. There are others I have thought about writing, and one was his mother. I'm glad at least a couple of people are enjoying this series. They're all one-offs, but are meant to be a series.
Summary:
Tony and Gibbs visit Woodstone Manor again around the holidays. Sam encourages Tony to return to the hospital where his mother died to see if she's still around.

12/21/2024 The Giving Heart on AO3 - written for the 2024 Happy Holidays Challenge
[GEN] Kate-era Team
This was written for the NCIS Happy Holidays Challenge Day 21/22 - Santa/Santa hat/Elf. I got the idea this morning as I was feeding the kitties, wrote it, edited it and posted it all in one day. I also gifted it to someone who often comments on my work. I'm not sure if she's seen it yet. It seems to be going over well with other people. I always enjoyed the sibling rivalry aspect of the Kate and Tony relationship. Kate comes off a little bitchy in this one, but she still really cares about Tony deep down.
Summary:
Kate is pissed that Tony uses his seniority to get Christmas off, when he tells them he's going to a casino. She meets up with Abby, Tim, and Jimmy on Christmas Eve to enjoy time with fellow co-workers. They stumble over an act of kindness that leaves them thinking differently about Tony.

This was written for the NCIS Happy Holidays Challenge Day 23/24 - Holiday Vacation. I thought it would be nice to send them off on a beach vacation.
Summary:
Gibbs had already planned to take Tony on a quick trip to California for Christmas as a gift. When cases are light and Vance gives them additional time off, Gibbs manages to expand the trip for a few extra days.

This story was written for Cutsycat, as a Stocking Stuffer for the NCIS Happy Holidays Challenge. Cutsycat has been the most consistent writer for the Happy Holidays Challenge so I like to gift her a story as a thank you. And since she likes cats and I love writing about cats, it gives me an excuse to write a cat story.
Summary:
Gibbs arrives at Tony’s apartment unannounced and finds the table is already set with a dinner for two. Who is Tony’s mysterious guest? Tony insists it isn’t what Gibbs may be thinking.

12/27/2024 Mad Catter’s Tea Room on AO3

This is the story formerly known as "Mystery Bunny 1". I actually started this story last October, intended as a thank you to Cutsycat for last year's HHC. Unfortunately, I didn't get it finished until today (12/27/2024). I did gift her a different story last year, which also had cats. I'm sure this turned out differently than it would have if I'd finished it last year, but it is what it is.
Summary:
Tim is dealing with the recent death of his father. This brings back Tony’s memories of losing his mother. He decides he wants to do something to help Tim through the loss by spending time with him over the Christmas holiday.

In 2023 I have completed 9 stories (so far).

Notes:
(Warning for CRABBINESS!) I'm very disappointed that my Big Bang stories didn't go over any better. Out of 11 BB challenge stories this year, the three least popular are all mine. WTH? I honestly thought Death Runs in the Family would be the least popular Big Bang story this year. It's the second to the bottom. However, I expected my other two to do better. Never Let Go is the best of the three IMHO, it's currently the third least popular Big Bang story this year. It would need at least 25 (or more) kudos to move up at all. It's done the best of my stories, but other stories in the challenge have 2, 3 or 4 times more kudos. The first BB I wrote, When Worlds Collide, is the least popular by quite a bit. And it has 10 Tonys. Everyone loves Tony, right? So why don't they like 10 Tonys? I don't get it. This poor story may not do well enough to even get into my top 100 by the end of the year. And while I hate to complain at all, it hurts when you've spent over 100 hours of your life working on writing a story that you are proud of, then have it bomb like this. Just because I still watch and like the show, are people not reading my stories because they assume I always write later seasons? I tend to write any season at all. But yeah, it's depressing. It makes me rethink why I bother spending so much time writing fanfic. Okay, done crabbing for now. But maybe I need to rethink writing fandom...

I have a lot coming up in RL, so I knew if I participated in SeSa, I'd have to jump on it and get it wrapped up quickly. I started it right away about a week ago when assignments came out and just finished it up a few minutes ago. No hints though, as it's supposed to be a secret until after Christmas. Shhh. I think I'm done. I'm done enough, but I could always add another chapter or two if I felt like it.

Multiverse bunny - Big Bang 1

In looking through my old bunnies, this one from 2020 was the only one that really piqued Muse's interest (I call him Tio, BTW). It's a Sci-fi style story, clearly not based in reality. So basically, several Tonys from other universes start showing up in this universe, and the team has to figure out how to deal with them, and how to send them back. I've not really figured it all out, but I think I have a decent start. This is my first story completed for the 2023 NCIS BB challenge. This one is so far out there, that I really feel I want to write another story, too. Something more of a reality-based story. We shall see.

I did keep a piece of artwork I created for the 2022 RB. But I liked it enough to keep it. I have a deal with Muse. He can keep ONE and only ONE artwork I create for the RB, AND only if he has a solid bunny for it. He kept the artwork I used for Melancholy Man, which was originally created for the 2021 RB, and he kept this one from RB 2022. He did not grab one from this year. Oh, he thought about the kitty one, but didn't have an idea for it, so we let it go.
Anyway, I may submit this as a BB although, I'm using my own artwork. This means, I really want to have a summary to submit.
So this one, Tony disappears. I know. It sounds a lot like Broken. Starts out the same, too. He's going on vacation with his frat brothers. Will have to make this different somehow. Well, it doesn't take place in New Orleans, so that group will not be involved. And no plans at the moment to bring in the BAU. So... just started it. Will need to flesh it out a bit.

I have signed up for this year's NCIS Big Bang, which is the 10th-anniversary version. However, I will be extremely busy this summer and have no clue of what to write at this point. I am working on one I already have artwork for, but I really want to submit a summary for the claims. At the moment, we have two artists signed up for six authors. Hopefully, we'll get a few more people signed up.

Casting Lines and The Pup Tent are both good stories for Father's Day. I intend to post them after the RB is done, but before Father's Day.

We had two authors who had to drop their stories for this year's NCIS Reverse Bang. Both were claimed by backup authors, one of whom was me. I wrote this story in about a week, maybe 4-5 writing days. It will be posted in May as part of the 2023 NCIS Reverse Bang Challenge.
Summary:
Tony is assigned to escort Abby to a court appearance, but things soon go terribly wrong.

So this one, I was concerned we may have more artists than summaries (2022 NCIS Big Bang). I wanted something to offer if that were the case and all artists wanted to participate (like last year, when I offered up Temping Poses). I wasn't happy with where this one was. Also, I knew it was headed in the 5000 Micro-Bang level, and all the other stories are over 20K this year. I really had no interest in submitting a crappy 5K story in that field. My plan was to wrap it up in time to post for Father's Day in June. I made it, YAY!
Summary:
Gibbs and Tony invite their dads to go fishing over Father’s Day weekend and decide to share the news that they are a couple.

The Pup Tent (Parenting bunny)

While I didn't have any really strong feelings for the 2023 NCIS Reverse Bang Challenge, I did feel I could write a story for most pieces. I did decide to stand back and let other people make their choices first. I looked over the pieces left and decided I would pick up this very nice Tim & Jimmy camping piece. I loved the artwork, but Tim and Jimmy are background characters for me. I don't tend to focus stories on them. But I was all set to claim the piece. But then I heard someone else wanted to claim it as their second story. I let them claim it. I knew they'd do a better job remaining true to the artwork and what the artist would like to see. I was pretty confident I would manage to twist it into a Gibbs/DiNozzo story despite them not being featured in the artwork. So yes, a lovely story was written for the piece, with Tim and Jimmy bonding over camping with their kids. However, since I had a bunny hopping around my head, I decided to write it anyway. And this is it!
Summary:
Jim and Tim bond over being fathers and Tony feels left out. Eventually, he claims to be watching “Charlie” for his recently divorced neighbor (Calli) in the afternoons until she is home from work. Unsure if Tony is actually being truthful, they invite him to bring “Charlie” on a camping trip along with Tim’s twins, and Jimmy’s daughter.

I really enjoy the series called Ghosts, the US version. So I thought, what if Gibbs takes Tony to Woodstone Manor for a holiday vacation? Still working on it. My thought is to have it ready for the HHC. I think it would have fit Dec 9 Holiday Vacation better, but it wasn't done. So, it's either Dec 23 Blizzard/Snow (anything related to snow), or if there is an amnesty day after Christmas... or I could just post it on its own.

These are little bunnies that may have a paragraph or two of notes, but I haven't started writing yet. They might get written one day, or they may never get written. I suspect I'll drop them after a certain amount of time, maybe 5 years on the list, or if I simply lose all interest, or forget where I was headed with it.
